Media Poisoning of American Minds
How are we going to stop Bill O'Reilly, FOXnews, Rush Limbaugh et al. from poisoning the minds of so many American people? These manipulators are having a truly harmful effect on life in America (and the world.)
The bad news is that all media is slanted one way or another...you rarely get just the truth. Ever wonder why no outsiders get elected??? Wonder why all candidates lie? Telling the truth doesn't get you good ratings. Imagine a nation run by Betty Crocker and Pepsico...
While I'm on the subject... It's up to people like you and me to change this crap. I on the right and you on the left...we both see our country being run by people who would rather pad thier pockets than do what is right and good. Vote 3rd party!!!
Maybe we can explore these definitions, right and left, in more detail. It seems to me that they aren't helpful in many situations. Do they serve an important function, or do they serve the politics of derision and division?
You're right...I mean correct :) I feel like the labels don't truly describe us. I was just saying I am more traditional and you are more progressive...but we both agree on many things.
