Kniphofia Flower
Native to South Africa, this flower was photographed in Olympia Washington. [edit:] By the way, I welcome constructive criticism of this photograph, and anything posted to this blog - for that matter.
Hi Rob I just discovered this flower on my recent trip to WA. My husband is working in Oak Harbor at the Naval Hospital. Anyway I ask in an art gallery what it was as I had taken several shots myself of this flower. I love the way you captured the fine needle like spikes of the flower and blurred the background. Great colour. Jessica Scottsdale AZ
